The Mascoutin
Society Scholarship The Mascoutin Society of Chicagoland is a non-profit organization whose goals are to preserve American Indian cultures and promote the education of American Indian students. The Mascoutin Society has been in existence since the 1950's and has provided a Grant-in-Aid fund for Native American students in times of need. This scholarship is an additional step by The Mascoutin Society in aiding American Indian students toward their aspirations of a postgraduate education. The Mascoutin Society is pleased to announce this scholarship to be awarded to American Indian/Alaskan Native students for college/vocational education. This scholarship is intended to recognize a student who gives positive contributions to his/her community and intends on continuing in aiding his/her community after gaining postgraduate education. The Mascoutin Society Scholarship consists of one $1,000.00 cash award to be used in furthering the recipients academic or vocational education. The money will be divided equally per term and will be sent directly to the educational institution of the students choice upon verification of enrollment. An alternate for the academic year will be selected in the event the recipient cannot continue his/her education for the second semester. Requirements:
