Probationary Membership

Applications for membership in the Mascoutin Society of Chicagoland are reviewed by a committee of its members and then submitted to the Executive Board with their recommendations. The application and recommendations are taken under consideration by the members of the Executive Board at a meeting which is held semiannually, and are either accepted or rejected by the Board. If rejected, the applicant will be notified why the application was rejected.

During a 3 month probationary period the applicant shall take an active part in Mascoutin activities, and show their willingness toward contributing to the success of the Mascoutin program.

Our policy of selecting applicants for membership is to assure the applicant that he, or she, will become the member of an active and interesting organization, and by the same token, it assures the Mascoutin Society that all of its members will be equal and willing contributors to the success of its program.

It is imperitive that all questions be answered completely and fully.
